Visiting Australia

With Brexit happening, and with the possibility of Trump being elected, I can imagine many people are wanting to find a new country to live in.

Australia’s pretty cool, in a lot of respects. If you live in QLD, winter doesn’t really ever fall below 15 degrees, so it’s always summer.

But … we have some of the most deadly animals in the world. So there’s that.

Come to Australia … you might accidentally get killed.

(Btw: we Aussies know how to handle certain things. For instance, in a shark attack, punch the shark. When Americans create these movies about shark attacks … they’re seriously over-estimating sharks. Sharks are pretty big sissies. Seriously. An Australian surfer was attacked by a shark during a competition and he punched the shark … and the shark left him alone. YouTube it if you don’t believe me. But the cone thing? And the stone fish? Now that shit will kill you. Seriously. And definitely don’t ever touch anything small. The smaller it is, the most likely it is to kill you. Never, ever touch the pretty small blue octopus.)

  1. Waaaaaay ahead of everyone, already trying to get back! Thankfully never had any close calls with a shark when I was in Melbourne (water was probably too cold for them…) but I know the video you’re talking about and it was insane!
